PSC Map Pads

Rules for formatting PSC Map pads

  • Make sure you choose the correct layout within the templates. The layout will depend on the amount of information provided by the client.
  • Pay special attention to the "All Insurance Accepted" vs "Most Insurance Accepted" line.

Small Map Pad

  1. Pickup SMP template here: /Volumes/data/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/TEMPLATES/PRINT/2.0 Templates/2.0 Map Pads (make sure you grab the one without the QR code unless asked for by client)
  2. Enter information highlighted by the "Do Not Print" layer of the InDesign Document (in pink).
  3. Create map from Google Maps search. Template for Illustrator document is here: /Volumes/data/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/PSC LOCATION MAPS/2.0 PSC LOCATION MAPS/2.0 MAP TEMPLATES
  4. update PSC lit code and date on back

Medium Map Pad

  1. Pickup MMP template here: /Volumes/data/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/TEMPLATES/PRINT/2.0 Templates/2.0 Map Pads (make sure you grab the one without the QR code unless asked for by client)
  2. Enter information highlighted by the "Do Not Print" layer of the InDesign Document (in pink).
  3. Create map from Google Maps search, plot out multiple locations on the same map. Template for Illustrator document is here: /Volumes/data/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/PSC LOCATION MAPS/2.0 PSC LOCATION MAPS/2.0 MAP TEMPLATES
  4. update PSC lit code and date on back

Large Map Pad & Extra Large Map Pad

  1. Pickup LMP template here: /Volumes/data/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/TEMPLATES/PRINT/2.0 Templates/2.0 Map Pads
  2. Enter information highlighted by the "Do Not Print" layer of the InDesign Document (in pink). Make sure locations are listed alphabetically and/or by county
  3. Create map for each location from Google Maps search. Template for Illustrator document is here: /Volumes/data/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/PSC LOCATION MAPS/2.0 PSC LOCATION MAPS/2.0 MAP TEMPLATES
  4. Create area location map with each location plotted and specified with a number inside a green box. Pickup template for state maps here: /Volumes/data/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/PSC LOCATION MAPS/50 STATE MAPS
    Delete all except the following layers from illustrator doc: 1-9, 13, 16-18, 41
  5. update PSC lit code and date on back
