Whenever any job is duplicated and shares common elements, such as photos, logos, or layouts, it should be turned in to a template.

Templates live within the /TEMPLATES folder such as the one below:

/CREATIVE/QUEST DIAGNOSTICS/TEMPLATES/PRINT/2015 Brand Templates/Competitive Landscape/XXXXX-v1-CL-[NAME].indd

Follow the example shown in this file, ensuing your template meets the following criteria:

Every piece of text is a pure style, meaning there is no plus sign shown when it is used. Character styles are used for all unique styling. The name of the style is shown on the first usage in the template Common rules for creating a file are placed in a yellow box on the artboard All images are linked to an image in the Photos Logos directory, preferably in Template Images
